The Cabestan's Nostromo Watch

Check out this unique Cabestan Nostromo watch which is motivated by the ship from the Alien movie and used the movement that made the Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Vertical well-known. The Cabestan Nostromo is constructed mainly from titanium and the case is coated with a superluminova phosphorescent paint which reveals a subtle yellow green light that flows around the wheel bridges, drums and drive shafts when in lowlight.

The open design of the watch allows for the viewing of the vertical mechanics from both the front and the back, including the drive shaft which is used to transmit the required energy to power the movements.

Yet this watch and its amazing and unique design don’t come cheap. If you’re really fascinated, it’s available for 150,000 Swiss Francs or around $141,400.

Zenni Brings Great Quality For Less!

Eyeglasses may cost a small fortune and with the growing global economy crisis, people are now cooking up ways on how to save rather than to spend. Some would sacrifice little pleasures, while some would lessen their expenses and live with a very tight budget. It is common notion that low prices would equate to worse quality and functionality. But this is where most people go wrong. You can buy quality and high end eyeglasses without ripping your pockets off! You just have to know where to look for them.

Zenni, a brand of eyeglasses, offers great design and functionality for an affordable price! They sell a wide variety of lenses and frames for prices much lower than that of traditional optical stores. Their products start at $8 and the most expensive ones are at $40. These eyeglasses are priced as so because Zenni Optical brings their products direct from their factories to you.

The downside, like any other online store, is that you can’t try these glasses on before purchasing it. But there is no need to worry; the website provides photos, descriptions, and info to help customers pick the right pair of glasses for their face shape and tastes.

Experience Rodeo Live!

As a kid, I usually venture into various cheap thrills. One of the many adventures I had was riding on a fake horse that mechanically swings you to and fro. My mom would take pictures of me as I hold on for dear life on top of the machine. Growing up, I discovered a more extreme kind of such ride. It was called the rodeo.

Rodeo is a sport which arose out of the working practices of cattle herding and it was based on the skills required of the working vaqueros in Spain and Mexico which are popularly known today as cowboys. I love the non-stop action that goes on in the ring. The timed events such as calf roping and bull riding are one of my favorites. It is because it reminds me so much of the old cowboy movies and maybe because of the great possibility that the athletes may get hurt. I always wanted to see the National Finals Rodeo live.

Want to watch rodeo live? Find and buy your NFR tickets online! Ticket prices are sold higher than the NFR Tickets face value but prices reflect the cost of obtaining premium seating for you to experience the best of what rodeo has to offer!

The Beauty of CD and DVD Media

Got a new computer! WhoOo! No more lags and hang-ups (for now). But I promised to take good care of this so; first things first, need to set-up a back-up for its system in case of any future boot problems and other related dilemmas (Well not that I’m hoping for it to happen). Anyways, there are many means to back-up files like HD to HD or even just copying them to a flash disk. But the big disadvantage for these two is they’re virus magnets if you know what I mean. For me, the best way is to burn them to a blank DVD-R or even just a blank CD-R if it’s not that big.

Why dvds and cds? Well, Even though they are not that handy and extra delicate, bank dvds are more reliable and trusted. You can store any type of data like mp3’s, personal videos, movies etc. And they can be found easily in the majority of consumer electronics and computer stores usually in the computer department. Or they can be bought online if you don’t have the time to go for a ride and buy one.

Hope I made sense of what I’ve said guys. Got to go! I have some ‘backing up’ to do.
